The interviewer seemed robotic and specifically asked about my consulting experience. I had none and that was blatantly obvious on my resume and from my first interview. In short, they didn’t hire me because I’ve never had a consulting contract. My application experience is great - 7 years developing Clin Doc and MyChart and I felt I did a good job answering their questions. It would’ve been fine if they had just wasted my time and their own time. Started the process in September, ghosted for a few months, contacted again, it goes round and round and would have been nearly a year, totally different title, and totally different salary. Like buying a lottery ticket and heading to the dealership to test drive every vehicle before they even scratch the ticket.
