With the development of the economy and society, the importance of intellectual property has gradually increased, and the quantity and quality of intellectual property have gradually become an important reflection of an enterprise's R&D capabilities.
In order to implement the requirements of the "13th Five-Year Plan for National Intellectual Property Protection and Utilization" on "strengthening the evaluation of the relationship between patent activities and economic benefits", promote the smooth development of innovation-driven development evaluation work combining patents with industrial development, and achieve the connection between patents and industries, the State Intellectual Property Office has formulated the "Reference Table of the International Patent Classification and the National Economic Industry Classification (2018)".
According to the "Reference Table of the International Patent Classification and the National Economic Industry Classification (2018)", CnOpenData has conducted annual data volume statistics on patent data at four gradually subdivided levels, namely, industry categories, industry middle categories, industry major categories, and industry minor categories, which has a high reference value for internal and external analysis of intellectual property represented by patents in various industries.
