It was always fun, the managers knew how to make the bi-weekly trainings fun or interactive. Shifts weren't bad, working on the slides was fun. Coworkers are typically around the same age (high school or early college) and fun to work with. You get a pretty long lunch (around 55 min) and they make sure you're always protected from the sun and stay hydrated. Sometimes the breaks are way too short. On busy days and hot days at the peak of summer, it can be quite brutal physically and mentally since you need to make sure everybody is safe (it gets really busy). Since all coworkers are around the same age, there can be drama among the employees. Sometimes it is hard to get hours on your schedule, especially when the park is not so busy or there are currently a lot of employees. Nice for highschool or early college summer job. Keep up making sure everyone is safe from the sun and hydrated, that helps a lot on painful days. Also, try your best to make the in-services enjoyable, when it's more fun everyone learns and retains more of the training. 0 0
